Minimierung von gasfoermigen und fluessigen Emissionen bei der Kompostierung organischer Abfallstoffe durch prozesstechnische Massnahmen Abschlussbericht

The composting of separately collected organic wastes through intensive rotting gives rise to organic (VOC) as well as inorganic emissions into the air and water which necessitate an involved aftertreatment of effluents and waste air. Reducing the source of these emissions would relieve the environment of air pollutants. The purpose of the present laboratory and real-scale technical studies on the minimisation potential of such processes was to create a basis for assessing this issue from the viewpoints of science, business practice, environmental engineering and economics.Die Kompostierung getrennt erfasster organischer Abfaelle verursacht in der Intensivrotte prozessbedingte Emissionen organischer (VOC) und anorganischer Stoffe auf dem Wasser- und Luftpfad, die eine aufwendige technische Nachbehandlung von Abwaessern und Abluft erzwingen. Eine Verminderung der Quellstaerke dieser Stoffstroeme soll eine Umweltentlastung von luftgetragenen Schadstoffen bewirken. Verfahrenstechnische Untersuchungen sollen die Minderungspotentiale im Labor- und in der Realtechnik quantitativ erfassen und die Basis fuer eine wissenschaftliche, betriebspraktische, umwelttechnische und oekonomische Beurteilung liefern.
