Introduction : This new approach of sub-total laryngectomy with reconstruction (S.L.R) (conservation of the pharyngo-laryngeal distance and of the cartilage armature, with or without tracheotomy, if it is possible) permits to use the technic to the lesion in different stages of the larynx. Further more, by the flexible character of the resection, S.L.R can be indicated to certain large tumors (T3-T4) and to aging peoples. Method : 125 patients undergone this technic from 2000 to 2006 are presented : The carcinological results are noted by classical mode.
