Le pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP) est connu pour exercer une action neuroprotectrice sur les neurones en grain du cervelet. Une étude protéomique par électrophorèse bidimensionnelle, spectrométrie de masse et Western blot a révélé que le PACAP induit l expression de la perodiredoxine 2 par un mécanisme AMPc- et PKC-dépendant dans les neurones en grain immatures cultivés en conditions apoptotiques. Nous avons démontré l implication de la peroxiredoxine 2 dans l effet neuroprotecteur du PACAP en l absence et en présence d éthanol.
