НАУКОВО-МЕТОДОЛОГІЧНІ АСПЕКТИ ВИЗНАЧЕННЯ АКТИВНОСТІ ПРОФЕСІЙНИХ УЧАСНИКІВ ФІНАНСОВОГО РИНКУ

The essence of the concept of "indicator" and "index" is examined, approaches to their formation are described and criteria are stated to which they should fit. It is proved that in order to realize the complex program of financial market infrastructure’s development comprehensive and integrated indicators are needed which characterize the state and dynamics of such infrastructure and also which could help investor to make the right effective investment decisions with the services of the financial market infrastructure facilities. Integrated index of professional market participants’ activity, that is proposed to use, is related to such indicators. It’s essence is described and methodology of its calculation is given that consists of such stages: selection of indicators characterizing certain aspects of financial market entities; normalization of indicators; determining the effect of impact of separate indicators which characterize the activity of financial market participants; calculation of integral index of financial market activity; calculation of dynamic index of financial market activity; partition of financial market participants into groups.Рассмотрена сущность понятия «индикатор» и «индекс», охарактеризованы подходы к их формированию и названы критерии которым они должны соответствовать. Предложено индекс активности профессиональных участников финансового рынка.
