Ageing population and residences for elder in Genoa, Italia

Génova es la ciudad italiana que registra el mayor numero de ancianos. El porcentaje de población con más de setenta y cinco años es hoy cercana al 25 por ciento del total. Además aproximadamente el 20 por ciento de los mayores de setenta y cinco años vive en condiciones parciales o totales de no autosuficiencia. Muy elevado es también el número de ancianos que viven solos. Esto determina y determinará aún más en el futuro próximo la exigencia de viviendas especificas que conlleven a una mejora de la calidad de la vida. Esta exigencia tendrá también que adecuares a la demanda en términos de distribución territorial de manera que al anciano le sea dada la oportunidad de continuar viviendo en el barrio donde ha pasado la mayor parte de su vida.Genoa is the Italian city with the highest number of elder people.
