Each piece in this collection explores, in some way, the intimate relationships between immediate or extended family members residing in the same households. I am interested not only in the loving relationships that living with family can inspire, but also the conflicts it can cause, ranging from slight everyday irritations to fundamental differences highlighted by the claustrophobia of sharing a private interior space. In these stories I group together siblings, husbands, wives, grandparents, and cousins, enclose them between four walls and lid them with a roof, and wait to see what emerges
