Analisa Tegangan Sistem Perpipaan Jet Fuel Oil pada area Splash Zone

In order to reduce the burden of imports and increase the production of quality and environmentally friendly fuels in Indonesia. In this project, PT. X added a production capacity of up to 100,000 barrels per day, up 38 percent from 260 thousand barrels to 360 thousand barrels per day. One of the added facilities is the jet fuel oil facility that connects from the existing pipe to the Loading arm. This pipe is located in the area of Splash Zone or splash area so that when the tide is rising, the waves will give a big influence so it needs to be done carefully. However, stress analysis and calculation are carried out due to stresses due to Sustained loads, stresses due to thermal / expansion loads and stress due to occasional loads. In analyzing the stress, ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineering) B31.4 uses the Pipeline System for Liquid Hydrocarbons and Other Liquids. Meanwhile, to analyze the waves used 1981 DNV (Det Nnorske Veritas). To do the stress calculation, CAESAR II software is used, then the results of these calculations will be compared with the permit voltage in ASME B31.4. Thus it can be seen whether the stress is safe or not to be operated
