Analisa Tegangan Sustained Load dan Nozzle Load dari Tie-In Point Existing Menuju Inlet New Knock Out Drum

Refenery Unit is a plant intended to produce fuel oil, along with the continuing need for oil, the Refenery Unit facility needs to be developed "EPC RELOCATION FLARE BPP II AND NEW FLARE HCC" is one of the production facility development projects. The location at the old flare point will be used for development, and the flare will be moved to a place that does not belong to the Refenery Unit development site. One of the facilities piping system that rebuilts is knock out drum, by connecting existing pipe use tie-in method to inlet new knock out drum. This pipeline has 6 line numbers diameter of 12" with a design temperature of 200° C and a design pressure 49,78 psi, therefore the load received by the pipe is very large so that it needs proper calculations and simulations by computer. Stress analysis in this case focuses on static stress analysis, flexibility, and allowable pipe span of the pipe which includes stress due to sustained load, and nozzle load. From the above problems analyzed by comparing manual calculation with running results on CAESAR II software so that the stress value can be determined according to the limits of ASME B31.3. The results of manual calculations show the sustained loads and CAESAR II software show the sustained loads and nozzle loads on the piping system is below the allowable limit value. So, from the results of the analyzed calculations or CAESAR II software states that the piping system is safe when operating
