The Indonesian Language Agency mapped there are 11 extinct, 19 threatened, and 2 critical local languages. But, until now there's still no comprehensive solution to solve the problem of the critical and extinction of local languages. There are three things discussed in this study. First, why are the local languages being in critical and endangered situations? Second, how to solve this problem?
