Religião e política: o núcleo comum

The different religions and politics operate in similar mode. In the process of constituting their mechanisms of power, they capture the individual power of their members, require obedience, promise salvation and, therefore, often get into conflict with each other. In this article, it is considered how Spinoza in his Tractatus theologico-politicus, in order to prevent society from internal dissolution, proposes a theological-political conjunction. A minimalist, but universal religion, based solely on seven dogmas of faith, should occupy the centre of politics, in order to guarantee obedience and to offer reasons for acquiescence by the subjects. The seven dogmas of faith, considered by Spinoza as pertinent to the sphere of opinion, are properly neither true nor false, but they represent something like a projection of the truth on the domain of the imagination.As diversas religiões e a política operam de modo semelhante. Na gênese de seus mecanismos de poder, capturam as potências individuais de seus membros, requerem obediência, prometem a salvação e, por isso mesmo, entram frequentemente em conflito, umas com as outras. Neste artigo, discute-se como Spinoza, no Tractatus theologico-politicus, para evitar a dissolução da sociedade, propõe uma conjunção teológico-política. Uma religião minimalista, mas universal, baseada unicamente sobre sete dogmas de fé, deve ocupar o centro da política, para garantir a obediência e as razões da obtemperação dos sujeitos. Os sete dogmas de fé, considerados por Spinoza como pertinentes ao âmbito da opinião, não seriam propriamente nem falsos nem verdadeiros, mas algo como uma projeção da verdade sobre o domínio da imaginação
