The present article presents some considerations about the metaphysical concepts contained in the great work of the Dutch philosopher Baruch Spinoza: the Ethics Demonstrated in the manner of the Geometers. With a single language and a rigorous method, Spinoza exposed one of the most beautiful metaphysical systems in the history of Western thought, waging a real struggle against superstition.
