Algumas considerações acerca da Metafísica presente na Ética demonstrada à Maneira dos Geômetras de Baruch Spinoza

The present article presents some considerations about the metaphysical concepts contained in the great work of the Dutch philosopher Baruch Spinoza: the Ethics Demonstrated in the manner of the Geometers. With a single language and a rigorous method, Spinoza exposed one of the most beautiful metaphysical systems in the history of Western thought, waging a real struggle against superstition. In an attempt to clarify the author’s metaphysical concepts, the article objectifies its main terms as substance, modes, attributes, and also clarifies what the Dutch thinker understands by Nature and his relationship with God, bringing new perspectives on the alleged pantheism presented in his work.O presente artigo apresenta algumas considerações acerca dos conceitos metafísicos contidos na obra magna do filósofo holandês Baruch Spinoza: a Ética Demonstrada à maneira dos Geômetras. Com uma linguagem única e com um método rigoroso, Spinoza expôs um dos mais belos sistemas metafísicos da história do pensamento ocidental, travando uma verdadeira luta contra a superstição. Buscando esclarecer os conceitos metafísicos do autor, o artigo objetiva seus principais termos como substância, modos, atributos, esclarecendo também o que o pensador holandês entende por Natureza e sua relação com Deus, trazendo novas perspectivas sobre o pretenso panteísmo apresentado em sua obra
