En nuestra sociedad existen amplias posibilidades para lograr el trabajo con la familia, siendo esta la célula social básica pues ofrece a sus hijos las primeras relaciones afectivas y modelos de comportamiento positivo o negativo, razón que exige la intervención de las instituciones educativas, u otros agentes comunitarios que hagan viable la acción educativa del sistema familiar. La vinculación familia–institución y escuela-comunidad presupone una doble proyección hacia la familia para conocer sus posibilidades, necesidades, condiciones reales de vida y lograr, en el hogar, la continuidad de las tareas educativas y sus posibilidades como potencial educativo. En Cuba, es una necesidad la preparación de nuestros futuros profesionales en cuanto al trabajo con la familia en la primera infancia como parte de la formación de las nuevas generaciones. Durante todo el proceso investigativo fueron empleados métodos de carácter teórico y empírico, consulta y análisis de la literatura especializada. El mismo tiene como objetivo: diseñar talleres educativos y comunitarios sobre cómo preparar a la familia para lograr un desarrollo integral en sus hijos y cumplir con su papel protagónico en la labor educativa del hogar. La acción conjunta entre el medio familiar e institucional posibilita una estrecha coordinación de trabajo del grupo y el hogar
