A manually operated device has been designed and produced that will enable individual sealant specimens to be subjected to cyclical movements. This simple device can be used in accelerated testing where one of the aging factors is cyclical movements that can be accelerated by increasing the amplitude of the cycling. Simultaneously, other aging factors can be varied. The same principle of testing involving this type of device can be applied to any material that is subject to cyclic, tensile, or compressive stresses in service.
