San Francisco: Two members of Black Panther Party are met on steps of State Capitol in Sacramento, 5/2/67, by Police Lt. Ernest Holloway who informs them they will be allowed to keep their weapons as long as they cause no trouble and not disturb the peace. Earlier several members had invaded the Assembly chambers and had their guns confiscated. Whatever else the Black Panther Party may be, it is a party dedicated to changing the existing order.https://digitalcommons.chapman.edu/upi_african_american/1250/thumbnail.jp
