Thursday, hall October 30, 1975 Since the by-laws do not stipulate what number constitutes a quorum, the Chairman decided to proceed with the meeting despite the small number of faculty members present. The Agenda was approved. The minutes for the meeting of October 4, 1975 were approved. Membership Committee Appointments by the Chairman were announced as follows: Mrs. Ceza Draz Mrs. Nefissa Gohar Abdel Rahman Dr. Maurice Imhoof Election o£ the By-Laws Amendment Committee Nominations from the Floor Elected Dr. Beard Dr. Beard Dr. Gadalla Dr. Gadalla Dr. Russell Dr. Russell Dr. Scanlon A request was made by the Chairman that the Faculty hold meetings only when there is business in spite of the stipulation in the by-laws for bi-monthly meetings. The Faculty expressed its approval. A motion was passed that urged the newly established By-Laws Committee to attempt the revision of the by-laws expeditiously. The Committee is to make a preliminary report to the Faculty in two months and the revision should be completed early in the new year. A request was made that the President give a brief report on his recent trip to the States including the Board of Trustees meeting. The President agreed to do so following adjournment. The meeting adjourned at 11:40 a.m
