MINUTES OP COUNCIL March 14th, 1931 PRESENT. Dr. McClenahan (In Chair), Parker, Vandersall, -------- Cleland, Galt, Jeffery. ENDERLIN* Memorandum from the S-O.S. was presented recommending provision of £120 being made in the Budget in view of the possibility of Mr. Enderlin being able to come to Cairo in September and undertake part time work in connection with S.O.S. teaching and administration. The Memorandum was voted to be added to the supplementary list to be submitted to the Trustees in America. REQUEST FROM MR. KIVEN- Through the Dean of the College Mr. Kivei “ presented a request that his son be allowed to take classes in the College for the coming Academic year without payment of fees. The request was approved. COMMENCEMENT. Dr. McClenahan and Mr. Galt were appointed to cooperate with the Committee of the College Faculty on College Commencement. 1 PROPERTY COMMITTEE. Secretary of Property Committee presented * Tninutes-of meetings of March 4th and 10th reporting the transaction of routine business. FINANCE COMMITTEE. Secretary of Finance Committee presented ‘ Minute's of meetings of Feb. 13th and March 13th, reporting the transaction of routine business and recommending : - i 1. that Reece»s bill for X-ray of teeth be referred to Philadelphia with the recommendation that it be treated as a medical bill. 2. the approval of the Budget for 1931-32 totalling £ <£28,737 of which £21,917 is to be drawn from Americs The recommendations were approved. SUMMER LEAVE. Mr. Reece was granted leave of absence from the country from ^une 1st to Sept. 1st; Mr. Parker from June 1st to August 1st, and Dr. McClenahan from June 6« ADJOURNMENT. Council adjourned
