t -3- in its undergraduate program and choosing certain especially need-ed and timely areas for development in its graduate program, and working towards the end of producing educated and responsible citizens of Egypt, the Middle East and the world at large, and encouraging by its existence, as well as by its program, both the West (especially America) and the Middle East in the common effort to understand, appreciate and work with each other.
