FOR THE YEAR 1934 - 1935. * * * * * * * Dear Sir, This last year 1934-35 has been a source of great hope as far as the Department of Education is concerned. (1) Teachers' College: When in 1933-34 leachers' College graduated three of its students with a B.A. in Education the occasion served as a potent factor of motivation. No sooner had the announcements been made and the pictures of the graduates in their academic gowns appeared in the papers than applications and incçuir ies began to come and continued coming long after the close of registration. The figures pertaining to the above are as follows: Letters received 64 Visitors during the summer months 36 Visitors during October 2.0 Blank forms filled 35 New students 29 No records of inc;uiries were kept after the opening of classes on October 4th. The number of students who filled blank applications for en-trance reached 35; but out of this number 29 students actually registered and pursued their studies either all tie year or the first semester only, as will be indicated later. The following figures give the classification of these students as to their qualifications, positions they hold and re-ligion.
