Il contratto a termine nelle fondazioni liriche

The discipline of the fixed term contracts in opera foundations has been repeatedly modified in the last years. The attempts of the legislator to avoid the application of ordinary rules to these subjects has been nullified by the European Court of Justice. It has been therefore introduced a new regulation, that applies to these contracts some of the limits provided for in EU Directive 1999/70, but not the sanction of the conversion of the fixed term contract into a contract of indeterminate duration, in case of violation of the above mentioned limits. The workers have rights only to a monetary compensation, that can be considered an effective protection to unlawful use of flexible contracts
