Consists of three films on the Royal Newfoundland Regiment. The first two were shot during World War 1 and are silent. The first film (1st Newfoundland Overseas Regiment. Depot: Newton-on-Ayr, Scotland) shows the men training, a boxing contest between Sergt. J. Williams and Pte. D. Piercey, a wrestling contest between Corpl. A. Hammond and Pte. A. Rendall and other activities.
