ABSTRACT This paper is about Generic Programming in Java and C++. One of the main motivations for including generic programming support in both Java and C++ is to provide type-safe homogeneous containers. To improve the support for generic programming in C++, we introduce concepts to express the syntactic and semantic behavior of types and to constrain the type parameters in a C++ template
