Principal Features The principal features to be constructed consist of Bridge Canyon Dam and Powerplant, the transmission system facilities, Coconino Dam and Reservoir and required access and operation facilities. The Bridge Canyon designed dam is a conventional, variable radius, concrete-arch dam 736 feet high above foundation, with a crest length of approximately 1,650 feet. The created reservoir would have a capacity of 3,710,000 acre-feet at normal water surface elevation of 1866. Of this capacity, 2,490,000 acre-feet would be conservation, 730,000 acre-feet inactive, and 490,000 acre-feet dead storage.
