PENERAPAN ASAS-ASAS PERLINDUNGAN KONSUMEN DALAM PERATURAN MENTERI NOMOR 77 TAHUN 2011 TENTANG TANGGUNG JAWAB PENGANGKUT ANGKUTAN UDARA

Consumer Protection is all effort which guarantee law certainty, to provide protection to consumers. Consumers protection in Indonesia implemented through the Law No. 8 of 1999. Law No. 8 of 1999 state that consumers protection applied based on the principles of consumers protection, which consisting of expediency, justice, safety, certainty, and stability. The Principles of consumers protection should be applied in every scope which relate to consumers protection, including in the field of transportation. Ministerial regulations No 77 of 2011 regulates about transportations. Moreover, Ministerial regulations No 77 of 2011 using Law No. 8 of 1999 as preamble. Consequently, principles of consumers protection which is implemented by Law No. 8 of 1999 must be implemented by Ministerial regulations No 77 of 2011. To see the implementation of the principles of consumers protection in Ministerial Regulations No. 77 of 2011, hence does normative legal research. The Normative legal research is the study of law by performing a process of abstraction through deduction norms of positive law in the form of systematization of law and legal sync vertically and horizontally and assess the positive law to the issues concerning the implementation of the principles of consumers protection in Ministerial Regulations No. 77 of 2011. Ministerial regulations No 77 of 2011 itself implemented the principles of consumers protection. It is proven by the existence of many articles in the Ministerial regulations No 77 of 2011 that shows the implementation of principlse of consumers protection
