Leadership styles followed in organizations has a close relationship with structure of the organization. Leaders will adopt different leadership styles based on various situations. This paper is based on “Tridimensional leadership effectiveness model” which on one hand focuses on basic, effective and ineffective leadership styles; and on the other hand maturity cycle of subordinates. The objective of the study was to analyze and compare the leadership styles adopted by leaders in organizations following mechanistic and organic structures.
