Friction clutches are still dominantly used in road motor vehicles. Besides the fact that basic concept remains the same, the quality and performance requirements are stronger and stronger. Further development of the friction linings structure and production technology is crucial for fulfillment of those requirements. This paper shows the way on which a very complex research (theoretical and experimental) was organized in order to determine influence of the specific working load on tribologic parameters
