Slide no. 101.17.Glen Rose (1905-1994) was most noted for being a Coach for the University of Arkansas, beginning his career as a student and Razorback athlete. He was selected for All-Southwest Conference from 1926 to 1928, and also as an All-American in 1928. He lettered in football for three seasons and baseball for two, then graduated in 1928 with a BA. In 1929, at the University of Arkansas, he served as assistant coach for 3 seasons until 1932. For nine years, he was head basketball coach from 1933-1942, and then was head football coach from 1944-1945.
