This article discusses the epistemological field of musical education regarding items such as its object of study, the nature of musical-pedagogical knowledge and its interrelations with other areas of knowledge. Through this approach, the text reveals the functions and specificity of musical-pedagogical knowledge in its philosophical, anthropological, pedagogical, sociological, historical, aesthetic, psychological and musicological dimensions. A structural model of the conceptual and the musical-pedagogical action is presented, demonstrating the varying perspective of knowledge and, through this, the interfaces with other scientific disciplines, thus producing a transparent association of the social practice and aesthetics, as well as the ...
