Bibliotherapy in social pedagogical work

The thesis deals with bibliotherapy as an intervention, which can be used by social pedagogue in his work. Bibliotherapy is defined through its history and the areas where it is used, mainly in Slovenia. To understand the concept further there is a need for more detailed definition, therefore part is also dedicated to different forms of bibliotherapy, its goals and the process as defined by various authors and the comparison between them. But to explain bibliotherapy in the context of social pedagogy, it is necessary to define the profession and where bibliotherapy and social pedagogy are alike. The conclusion shows connections between both areas and how bibliotherapy can be used as a method in social pedagogical work with children and adolescents
