[4]I sent Mrs Kellog a paper but have not heard from her, it may not have reached if the address was not correct.Now dear Cousin you ask me my plans, I really do not know what to do, I wd require to sell this house but I am told it is next to impossible to sell with out loss, if I cant I will try to make something out of it next summer, then the Solicitor says there may be duty on the[1][in margin: I am your affectionate cousinMaggie Rae Lunam]Westfield Dunbar6th October 1913Dear CousinI received your most kind sympathetic letter last week & along with it the delightful book of your Boyhood, I am enjoying it. Annie & Fay\u27s letter would tell you how peacefully my dear Mother passed away05567[5]Dunbar house, but they are such slow going fellows it may be a long time before I know definitely. I wonder if you would care to send your Book Boyhood Days to our Minister who has gone to [2]it is not two months yet & it looks long long since, She was so contented all through her long illness, never a murmer, she could say her favourite psalms & paraphrases with very little help up to the last such as The Lord\u27s My Shepherd Oh God of Bethel , etc. but the longest life seems like a dream when it is[3]past, I am missing Susan Gilroy at this time so much She died in March of pneumonia, with friend in Edinburgh, it was a great blow to me.
