A construção/negociação de papéis e posições em uma atividade híbrida de entrevista-debate

This thesis aims to examine how roles and positions assignment and claims are interactionallly negotiated by participants of a debate interview and how this negotiation constructs this hybrid activity. From an interactional perspective in Linguistic (COUPER-KULEN and SELTING, 2001), this study is anchored in theoretical studies about role (SARANGI, 2010, 2011a, 2011b; WEIZMAN, 1996, 2006, 2008) and positioning (LANGENHOVE and HARRÉ, 1999; WEIZMAN, 2008), beyond the conceptualizations that surround the type of activity (SARANGI, 2000; EMMERTSEN, 2007). This research adopts a qualitative and interpretive approach, based on a case study, using the contributions of Conversation Analysis (SACKS, SCHEGLOFF and JEFFERSON, 1974) as an analysis tool. The corpus consists of three editions of Roda Viva TV show that is characterized as an interviews show, in which various themes are raised and discussed by the participants that form the table in each of its editions. The analysis results show that there is a relationship of interactional interdependence between these three constructs – role, position and activity – in activity construction and in roles and positions negotiation.Esta tese tem o objetivo de examinar como as atribuições e reivindicações de papéis e posições são negociadas interacionalmente pelos participantes de uma entrevista-debate e como essa negociação constrói esse formato híbrido de atividade. A partir de uma perspectiva Interacional em Linguística (COUPER-KULEN e SELTING, 2001), a tese é ancorada nos estudos teóricos sobre papel (SARANGI, 2010, 2011a, 2011b; WEIZMAN, 1996, 2006, 2008) e posicionamento (LANGENHOVE e HARRÉ, 1999; WEIZMAN, 2008), além das conceptualizações que circundam o tipo de atividade (SARANGI, 2000; EMMERTSEN, 2007). O estudo adota uma abordagem qualitativa e interpretativa, baseada em um estudo de caso, utilizando as contribuições da Análise da Conversa (SACKS, SCHEGLOFF e JEFFERSON, 1974) como ferramenta de análise. O corpus é composto por três edições do programa Roda Viva, que se caracteriza como um programa de entrevistas, em que diversos temas são abordados e discutidos pelos participantes que compõem a mesa em cada uma de suas edições.
