The purpose of this research is to examine the challenges and barriers faced by Malaysian Women in their career progression. There were number of research done previously and found there are relationship between gender discrimination, education, family commitment and job-related experience are the barriers for Malaysian women. There were limited studies on work life balance. Moreover, currently Malaysian government targeting by year 2020 there should be at least 59% women to present in each organization.
