Your telegram came today, & with it came a San Francisco paper in which Helen & I are said to be critically ill. This I am happy to say is not so. Helen is very much better than when you saw her last & is evidently on the way to complete recovery. Wanda is quite well, & though as you know I have been overburdened & overworked in every way during the last two eventful months & am almost dead tired. I am gradually growing stronger & hope to get back into working condition again ere long. Possibly now that I have Wanda & Helen comfortably settled here I may possibly pay you a visit within a week or so. In the meantime dear friend I fondly hope & pray your beloved wife is being sustained & soothed in her affliction by our Heavenly Father & that you will always find the sympathy you so heartly bestow on others.
