Your telegram came today, & with it came a San Francisco paper in which Helen & I are said to be critically ill. This I am happy to say is not so. Helen is very much better than when you saw her last & is evidently on the way to complete recovery. Wanda is quite well, & though as you know I have been overburdened & overworked in every way during the last two eventful months & am almost dead tired.
