Co-management : use of natural resources between the Manacaro indigenous community and Curare Los Ingleses indigenous reserve, Amazonas

La relación ser humano naturaleza es intrínseca en los indígenas amazónicos de la comunidad de Manacaro y el resguardo Curare Los Ingleses; especialmente en las prácticas de subsistencia que realizan. Dichas prácticas se encuentran asociadas a espacios de uso del territorio, por ello, identificarlos y reconocerlos permite establecer mecanismos para el robustecimiento de los acuerdos de comanejo entre estos dos grupos con miras a salvaguardar la sostenibilidad de los recursos naturales vinculados a ellas. El presente estudio busca comprender el uso de los recursos naturales en relación un área de comanejo. Mediante metodologías cualitativas, compilados, con una perspectiva etnográfica, a través de diálogos informales y observación participante; se muestra que, en el comanejo inciden tanto factores sociales, como la disposición comunitaria en el cumplimiento de acuerdos, como factores ecológicos. Estos últimos, asociados a la estacionalidad, la disponibilidad de recursos, el acceso al territorio y las coberturas del ecosistema que inciden sustancialmente en las prácticas de subsistencia de las comunidades del presente estudio en el área compartida. Entonces, los limitantes ecológicos, vinculados a las condiciones ambientales, han determinado la identificación de espacios de uso que favorecen el cumplimiento de los actuales acuerdos de comanejo del territorio, por encima del interés y la disposición de las personas, que en todo caso se lleva a cabo en este contexto.Amazon Conservation teamComunidad indígena de ManacaroResguardo Curare Los InglesesThe relationship between human nature and nature is intrinsic in the Amazonian indigenous people of the Manacaro community and the Curare Los Ingleses indigenous reserve; especially in the subsistence practices they practice. Said practices are associated with areas of land use, therefore, identifying and recognizing them allows establishing mechanisms for the strengthening of co-management agreements between these two groups with a view to safeguarding the sustainability of the natural resources linked to them. The present study seeks to understand the use of natural resources in relation to a comanagement area. Through qualitative methodologies, compiled, with an ethnographic perspective, through informal dialogues and participant observation; It is shown that social factors, such as community disposition in the fulfillment of agreements, as well as ecological factors, influence the co-management. The latter, associated with seasonality, the availability of resources, access to the territory and the coverage of the ecosystem that specifically affect the subsistence practices of the communities in this study in the shared area. Then, the ecological limitations, linked to the environmental conditions, have determined the identification of spaces of use that favor compliance with the current joint management agreements of the territory, above the interest and disposition of people, which in any case is carried out in this context.https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2727-9465https://scholar.google.es/citations?user=bmixhV0AAAAJ&hl=e
