This Ph.D thesis focuses on the development of a hysteresis model to represent the properties of bulk or laminated magnetic circuits. Among other applications, this type of model can improve the accuracy of iron losses computation, using the finite element method.The hysteresis model that was developed is based on the Preisach-Mayergoyz model that is known in the literature for its excellent accuracy, but also suffers from poor numerical performances. We proposed a certain number of modifications to the original Preisach-Mayergoyz model, in order to get a hysteresis model that is around 100 times faster to compute, while maintaining the same level of precision, and for which the parameter identification process is simplified.The resulting a...
