Efecto de una asociación pasto-leguminosa en el rendimiento de materia seca y concentración de proteína de la pradera fertilizada con fósforo: MATERIA SECA Y PROTEÍNA DE ASOCIACIÓN GRAMÍNEA-LEGUMINOSA

Objective: to determine the seasonal variation of the dry matter yield (DMY) and protein of the Brachiaria humidicola-Arachis pintoi association with and without phosphatefertilization.Design/methodology/approach: DMY, protein, and leaf ratio in the plant were evaluated. Statistical analysis was on repeated measures in a completely randomizeddesign with four replications. Results: humidicola in monoculture (H) and humidicola-fertilized (HF) decreased their DMY by 0.90 t ha -1 DM in november, averaging 0.89 t ha -1 from November to June. From June 9 to July 14, H increased his DMY by 1.22 t ha -1 . Humidicola-cacahuatillo (HC) and humidicola-cacahuatillo-fertilized (HCF) registered an average RMS from October to February of 0.96 and 1.2 t ha -1 DM, respectively. HCF registered higher DMY in January (1.27 t ha -1 ) with respect to the average (0.71 t ha -1 ) of the rest of the treatments. During the dry season HC and HCF were higher in DMY than monocultures. The humidicola of the association registered 19.21 g kg -1 DM more protein, than the humidicola of the monoculture, being higher HCF than the rest of the treatments in rains.Limitations on study/implications: a limitation in the time of the humidicola- cacahuatillo association could be the persistence of the legume, therefore monitoring is required to determine its permanence.Findings/conclusions: the association when registering a higher RMSP in the dryseason, confers less seasonal variation, in addition to granting a higher proteinconcentration to the associated humidicola vs. the humidicola in monoculture.Objetivo: determinar la variación estacional del rendimiento de materia seca de la parcela (RMSP) y de proteína de la asociación Brachiaria humidicola-Arachis pintoi con y sin fertilización fosfatada. Diseño/metodología/aproximación: se evaluó el RMSP, proteína, y proporción de hoja en la planta. El análisis estadístico fue en medidas repetidas en un diseño completamente al azar con cuatro repeticiones.Resultados: humidicola en monocultivo (H) y humidicola-fertilizado (HF) disminuyeron su RMSP en 0.90 t ha -1 en noviembre, promediando 0.89 t ha -1 de noviembre a junio. Del 9 de junio al 14 de julio, H incrementó su RMSP en 1.22 t ha -1 . Humidicola- cacahuatillo (HC) y humidicola-cacahuatillo-fertilizado (HCF) registraron un RMSP de octubre a febrero de 0.96 y 1.2 t ha -1 MS, respectivamente. HCF registró mayor RMS en enero (1.27 t ha -1 ) con respecto al promedio (0.71 t ha -1 ) de los tratamientos restantes.Durante la época seca, HC y HCF fueron superiores en RMS que los monocultivos. El humidicola de la asociación registró 19.21 g kg -1 MS más proteína, que el humidicola en monocultivo, siendo superior HCF al resto de los tratamientos en lluvias.Limitaciones del estudio/implicaciones: Una limitante en el tiempo de la asociación humidicola-cacahuatillo podría ser la persistencia de la leguminosa, por lo que se requiere de su monitoreo para determinar su permanencia.Hallazgos/conclusiones: La asociación al registrar mayor RMSP en la época seca del año, confiere menor variación estacional, además de otorgar mayor concentración de proteína al humidicola asociado vs el humidicola en monocultivo
