Common Swift’s diet was studied through the analysis of faeces and alimentary balls, the latter being regurgitated by adults either when mist-netted for ringing or when feeding young at nest. The alimentary balls were exclusively composed of arthropods, mainly Homoptera, Hymenoptera, Coleoptera, Heteroptera and Arachnids.
