Convention launch for new society

Announcement of the formal launch of Western Australia's Land Management Society during the convention "Land, the Fragile Resource" to be held 5-6 September 1983 in the Golden Ballroom of the Sheraton Perth-Hotel. The steering committee chairman, Mr Harry Whittington said discussions with farmers at grassroots level, rural-based organisations, government and service agencies had indicated strong support for the creation of the society.
