Penaeus japonicus reproduction bas been studied since many years. Mediterranean and atlantic climatics conditions, in France, allow the rearing of this species. It's easy to obtain post-larvae in an hatchery. Pathologies problems (black gilldease) in relation with the stabulation of breeders are resolved. Survival rate (60%) is good after nine months. Maturation is obtain at 18°e. Thermal stress up at 25°e leeds to spawning. Larval rearing is performed at 26°C, using monospecific algae produced in an algae room , and with Artemia nauplii from the zoe 3 stage. Final density is about 100 P3 per liter. Pregrowing is operated at 23°C. Food compouding is living Artemia nauplii and froozed food. Initial density is 10 P3 per liter and survival rat...
