Considerando la prensa como principal cauce de circulación de ideas políticas y escenario del debate público en el proceso de implantación del liberalismo, este artículo explora las lecturas y la referencialidad en clave interna de la revolución francesa de 1830 en las dos principales cabeceras chilenas, El Mercurio de Valparaíso y El Araucano.
