ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIKA SISWA PADA PEMECAHAN MASALAH KONTEKSTUAL MODEL PISA

Mathematical communication skills are the ability of students to solve a problem and convey information verbally and in writing. The purpose of this study was to determine students' mathematical communication skills through contextual solving of the PISA model. This research at SMA in class X. The approach of this study was qualitative and the type of research was descriptive qualitative. The instruments in this study were in the form of test questions and interview. Question test sheets are used to determine students 'mathematical communication skills in writing and interview tests are used to determine students' mathematical communication skills verbally.The results showed that students' mathematical communication skills were in the high category, sufficient in the medium category, and lacking in the low category, whereas in oral communication skills students were very good in the high category, both in the medium category, and less in the low category, and less in the low category
