Body Shaming Dalam Perspektif Hukum Pidana Indonesia

Body shame now often occurs in society. In Indonesia, a lot of body shaming is done on social media by commenting on other people's body shapes by leaving malicious comments about body shapes in the account column. Perpetrators of body shaming are indeed more than women, but it does not rule out the possibility that the perpetrators are male. body shaming can affect anyone, children, the elderly, young, women and even men. This study uses normative research using secondary data, namely studying Law and the Criminal Law Act. This research takes the formulation of the problem regarding the construction of body shaming law in the perspective of law in Indonesia and body shaming including in the crime of insult or defamation. To be punished for this body shaming, insults must be carried out in such a way, so that in the words of insults tucked, which might occur if the insulted person has done committed a certain act
