The bachelor thesis called Evaluation of the coneflower (Echinacea Moench) range in Central Mesophyticum conditions summarizes information about this genus. Genus Echinacea Moench consists of about 10 species of the original occurrence in regions of North America. It is generally known for its healing abilities however this thesis is focused mainly on ornamental plants character. The thesis deals mainly with topics such as Echinacea physiology, breeding and taxonomy. The practical part presents the results of observations in Lednice and Šumperk conditions. The test results are recorded in the Annex
