Sociologia na América Latina: giros epistemológicos e epistêmicos

This article proposes to highlight the emergence of a General Sociology in Latin America organized from three different sociological perspectives: that of "about" Latin America, that of "Latin America and that of Latin America. These diverse fields of meanings were organized from the intellectual readings on the gaps between capitalist colonization in the region and anti-colonial reactions from the nineteenth century to the present. A great novelty in this debate is to understand that the emergence of a transnational General Sociology marking the traits of a regional sociology, is an unprecedented fact when one observes that the dominant tendencies of the twentieth century were between the defense of a Eurocentric, on the one hand, and of a nativist or national sociology, on the other. The directions of the General Sociology of Latin America today are central to think the advances of a critical theory of coloniality that contributes to deconstruct the new coloniality that has been diffused by neoliberalismEste artigo destaca a emergência de uma Sociologia Geral na América Latina organizada a partir de três diferentes perspectivas sociológicas: aquela “sobre” a América Latina, aquela “da” América Latina e aquela “na” América Latina. Estes diversos campos de sentidos foram organizados a partir das leituras intelectuais sobre as brechas surgidas entre a colonização capitalista na região e as reações anti-coloniais, desde o século XIX até o momento presente. Uma grande novidade neste debate é compreender que a emergência de uma Sociologia Geral marcando os traços de uma sociologia regional transnacional constitui um fato inédito, quando se observa que as tendências dominantes no século XX foram entre a defesa de uma sociologia universalista de base eurocêntrica, por um lado, e de uma sociologia nativista ou nacional, por outro. Os rumos da Sociologia Geral da América Latina, hoje, são centrais para se pensar os avanços de uma teoria crítica da colonialidade que contribua para desconstruir a nova colonialidade que vem sendo difundida pelo neoliberalismo
