In 1955 Molly arrived in the Territory and married Basil John Courts, a police officer, at Alice Springs in 1956. She found herself out at Harts Range and Hatches Creek while her husband relieved at the police stations. The Courts spent five years at Wave Hill, where Molly had two daughters and one son, she assisted in the opening of the Wave Hill School she taught cooking and sewing. The family transferred to Darwin in 1962 where Molly became an active member of the Country Women Association CWA and the Stuart Park Pre-School.
