Income inequalities in the USA

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the development of income/economic inequalities in the USA, their causes and impacts for the American economy and society and to summarize the possible solutions introduced until now. This aim is to be reached through the method of description and interpretation. The thesis is divided in three chapters. In the first chapter income inequalities are explained from theoretical point of view. The second chapter applies the findings on the case of the USA. The third chapter offers proposed solutions.Cílem této práce tedy je zanalyzovat vývoj příjmových, potažmo ekonomických nerovností v USA, jejich příčiny a následky pro americkou ekonomiku a společnost a dosavadní snahy a návrhy jejich řešení. A dosáhnuto ho bude skrze metodu deskripce a interpretace. Práce se skládá ze tří kapitol. V první kapitole je představena problematika příjmových nerovností z teoretického hlediska. Druhá kapitola aplikuje získané poznatky na případ USA. V poslední kapitole jsou uvedena navrhovaná řešení příjmových nerovností v USA
