Work motivation and satisfaction of employees of the selected accommodation facility

The Master´s Thesis is focused on employee motivation and job satisfaction of front office workers of the selected accommodation facility. The aim is to find out the current state of their motivation, overall satisfaction and satisfaction with individual factors. At the same time, it should identify those factors to which employees feel the greatest importance and what are the most common causes of leaving the company. Another goal is to reveal weaknesses and pay attention to these areas. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts which are motivation, work motivation, theories of work motivation, stimulation, satisfaction, factors affecting job satisfaction and methods of determining satisfaction. The practical part is focused on characterizing the company, determination and answers to research questions and describes the methodology used for data collection and evaluation. Semi-standardized personal interviews were conducted with current and former receptionists. The open coding method allows processing of the results of the collected data. Finally, the results are summarized and the proposed measures are presented.Diplomová práce se zabývá pracovní motivací a spokojeností pracovníků recepce vybraného ubytovacího zařízení. Hlavním cílem je zjistit aktuální stav jejich motivace, celkové spokojenosti a spokojenosti s jednotlivými faktory. Zároveň identifikovat ty z nich, kterým pracovníci přikládají největší důležitost a jaké jsou nejčastější příčiny odchodu z firmy. Cílem je také odhalit slabá místa a těmto oblastem věnovat zvýšenou pozornost. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy, jimiž jsou motivace, pracovní motivace, motivační teorie, stimulace a spokojenost, faktory ovlivňující spokojenost zaměstnanců a metody zjišťování spokojenosti. Praktická část je zaměřena na charakteristiku firmy, stanovuje a odpovídá na výzkumné otázky a popisuje použitou metodiku a postup při sběru a vyhodnocení dat. Se současnými a bývalými pracovníky recepce byly uskutečněny polostandardizované osobní rozhovory. Následné zpracování výsledků nasbíraných dat umožňuje metoda otevřeného kódování.
