Use of simulation models and programs to analyze or improve the operation of a company

This diploma thesis deals with the use of simulation models for the analysis of the shiftwork. Specifically, the current situation of the T-Mobile branch is simulated. The aim is to analyze the functioning of the branch in various situations, identify weaknesses and suggest possible improvements. The results were obtained by performing experiments with a simulation model created by modifying some part of the system. The results of the individual scenarios were compared with each other. The diploma thesis is devided into theoretical and practical part. The first chapter describes the theory of queueing theory models. The second chapter deals with the theoretical foundations of simulation. The third chapter describes the used Simprocess software. In the second part, the creation of the simulation model is performer.Tato diplomová práce se zabývá využitím simulačních modelů za účelem analýzy směnného provozu. Konkrétně je simulován stávající chod pobočky firmy T-Mobile. Cílem je analyzovat fungování pobočky za různých situací, identifikovat slabá místa a navrhnout případná vylepšení. Výsledky byly získány na základě provádění experimentů se simulačním modelem vytvořeným v počítačovém programu. V rámci experimentování bylo navrženo 5 scénářů, které vznikly úpravou některé části systému. Výsledky jednotlivých scénářů byly porovnány mezi sebou. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V první kapitole je popsána teorie hromadných obsluh. Druhá kapitola se zabývá teoretickými základy simulace. Třetí kapitola se věnuje popisu použitého softwaru Simprocess. V druhé části je provedena samotná tvorba simulačního modelu
