Caption: "Delayed more than an hour beyond the intended deadline, one of the three strike-bound Oklahoma City taxi companies, under police protection, sent a token force of four cabs into the streets at mid-morning Thursday. Moses Schilling, operator of Capitol Hill Operating Co., who sent the cabs into service, declined to reveal if the drivers were members of the striking union. The other two companies tied up to the stricke, Yellow Cab and ABC, failed to get their service resumed as planned. All three had announced they would resume service at 9 a.m. Resumption of service has been demanded of all three by the city. Violence Avoided Schilling's token resumption of operationd came shortly after 10 a.m., following a number of false starts and stops. The action was taken without violence as the cabs moved through the picket line. But it brought hot words from Gloyd Davidson, union business agent. He demanded of Chief og Police Roy Bergman that officers, standing by at all three locations, inspect the city liscense of all drivers taking to the streets. While a policewman and union members stand by. Capitol Hill taxis resume token operation.
