But if you guessed it was OG&E's new Memorial park sub-station, you'd be correct. The new station will be in operation next summer and is costing OG&E about $500,000. This is a conservative estimate by Henry Roach, a company official. the new steel tower line (138KV) at Horseshoe lake will be tied in with the new station. To be integrated into the giant system, the output will be 100,00 KVA's with a stepdown voltage of 66,000 KW's. Power will be fed to smaller sub-stations, that reduce the power to usable voltage. Located at NE 122 and Edmond highway, the sub-station is a part of the expansion program that features the largest generator in the southwest, located at Mustang.
