"We haven't enough place to put it," Cunningham replied. "Lake Overholser's full clear to the brim." That was exactly eight months ago. Enough water went past the city lake to supply the city requirments for seven years, but Lake Overholser was only big enough to catch an eight-month supply, and there hasn't been any water flowing down the river since August. Upper Bluff creek reservoir would be filleed with the water that now escapes down the river if the $6,911,00 water inprovement issue is approved by voters in next Tuesday's election.
